My God is Yahweh, Part I

My God is YAHWEH

We are no longer one nation under God.  The psalmist asked, “When the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”  Though a man just like us, Elijah faced the challenge of crumbling foundations in Israel  – morally, spiritually, and politically. We have much to learn from him about how to deal with the challenge of living in a country of  fallen foundations. The message of his life was “My God is Yahweh”, and armed with that conviction he confronted and overcame the challenge of crumbling foundations.

In this passage Paul gives a remarkable description of his life. Looking back over his life, he offers a description few could boast. In essence, he says, “No regrets!” This message examines what it looks like for a Christian to live with no regrets, or, at least as few as possible. Everyone’s life is being poured out into something. What is your life being poured out into?
